Short answer
GoHighLevel costs $97, $297 or $497 a month (Starter, Unlimited and Agency Pro), with unlimited users on every plan, plus usage for calls, texts, email and AI. For a 10-rep sales team with light texting the real bill is about $256 a month, and for 25 reps calling and texting all day it's about $1,857, because usage dwarfs the plan fee.
So the plan you pick matters less than how much your team dials and texts. Most sales teams belong on Starter. Every price below comes from gohighlevel.com and HighLevel's own help center, checked October 21, 2026. I ran sales teams on GoHighLevel for five or six years, with hundreds of reps through it, so where our own bill helps, it's in here too.

GoHighLevel pricing plans
GoHighLevel has three public plans, and paying yearly costs ten months instead of twelve. A fourth, Enterprise, is quote only. Every plan gets the same core tools; what each one does is in our GoHighLevel features walk-through.
Source: GoHighLevel pricing page, October 21, 2026.
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Sub-accounts | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $97 | $970 | 3 | Unlimited users and contacts, 24/7 support, all core features |
| Unlimited | $297 | $2,970 | Unlimited | Rebill phone and email at cost |
| Agency Pro | $497 | $4,970 | Unlimited | SaaS Mode, rebilling with markup, user reporting, advanced API |
All three get the same CRM, pipelines, calendars, texting, calling, email, workflows, funnels and AI tools. The plans split on sub-accounts and reselling, which is why they read like an agency menu.
GoHighLevel starter plan
The Starter plan, at $97 a month, covers one sales team. HighLevel's own FAQ says the main difference between plans is the number of sub-accounts, and a sales team running one business in one account uses one of its three. Pick Starter unless you need a dedicated email domain ($59 a month, Unlimited and Agency Pro only) or more than three sub-accounts.
GoHighLevel unlimited plan
The Unlimited plan costs $200 more a month, $2,000 more a year, for unlimited sub-accounts and the right to rebill phone and email to clients. For a team that isn't reselling, that rarely pays. The real exception is a company with several offices or brands, each in its own sub-account, which hits Starter's cap of three.
GoHighLevel agency pro
Agency Pro, at $497, adds SaaS Mode, agency-level API keys and user reporting. I was on the agency plan, about $500 a month, for years, for its advanced API access. If you aren't reselling HighLevel or building on its API, skip it.
GoHighLevel starter vs unlimited
Starter vs Unlimited comes down to four lines on the pricing page.
| Starter | Unlimited | |
|---|---|---|
| Price | $97/mo | $297/mo |
| Sub-accounts | 3 | Unlimited |
| Rebill phone and email | No | Yes, at cost |
| Dedicated email domain ($59/mo) | No | Yes |
Both include basic API access, and agency-level keys are Agency Pro only, per HighLevel's API article. Some endpoints only open on higher plans, so check that article before you build an integration on Starter. Keys, rate limits and the Starter question are covered in our GoHighLevel API guide.
GoHighLevel annual pricing
Annual billing saves $194 a year on Starter, $594 on Unlimited and $994 on Agency Pro. It only covers the plan fee: usage is always billed as you go. Enterprise has no public price; it bundles premium support, a white-label mobile app and HIPAA.
How much is GoHighLevel per month for a sales team?
A sales team pays the same $97 plan fee at 10, 25 or 50 users, and then pays for every minute, text and number on top. That's where the bill grows. The three worked bills below use HighLevel's published rates and our own usage assumptions for each team.
| What each rep does per working day | 10 reps, light | 25 reps, heavy | 50 reps, with AI |
|---|---|---|---|
| Connected outbound calls × minutes | 5 × 3 | 22 × 4 | 12 × 4 |
| Inbound calls × minutes | 2 × 3 | 5 × 3 | 3 × 3 |
| Texts out / in | 15 / 8 | 60 / 40 | 80 / 60 |
| Emails | 15 | 30 | 40 |
Every bill assumes 22 working days, one local number per rep, one A2P campaign, one segment per text, every call recorded and an even mix of AT&T, T-Mobile and Verizon. Only connected calls are billed: HighLevel says unanswered calls with no voicemail generally aren't charged.
| Line (month one) | 10 reps | 25 reps | 50 reps |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter plan | $97.00 | $97.00 | $97.00 |
| Local numbers at $1.15 | $11.50 | $28.75 | $57.50 |
| Outbound minutes at $0.0166 | $54.78 | $803.44 | $876.48 |
| Inbound minutes at $0.01165 | $15.38 | $96.11 | $115.34 |
| Texts out, rate plus carrier fee | $38.95 | $389.51 | $1,038.69 |
| Texts in, rate plus carrier fee | $20.77 | $259.67 | $779.02 |
| Email at $0.675 per 1,000 | $2.23 | $11.14 | $29.70 |
| Call recording and storage | $13.86 | $169.95 | $188.10 |
| A2P campaign fee | $1.50 | $1.50 | $10.50 |
| AI Employee Unlimited | none | none | $97.00 |
| AI voice minutes (3,000 at phone rate) | none | none | $49.80 |
| Workflow Pro Starter | none | none | $10.00 |
| Total | $255.97 | $1,857.07 | $3,349.13 |
| Per rep | $25.60 | $74.28 | $66.98 |
The 50-rep team texts enough (7,000 segments a day) to need a high-volume A2P campaign, so its one-time fee is $64 instead of $22.50. Recording storage grows on every bill each month you keep the files. The low-volume campaign fee is published as a range, and we used the low end; the top of the range adds $9 a month.
Over a year, with the plan billed monthly, that's $3,246.60, $24,176.83 and $42,322.64.
The plan fee is 38% of the small team's bill, 5% of the heavy team's and 3% of the big team's. "Not priced per seat" is true, and it's why I liked GoHighLevel. It still isn't cheap: once usage lands, you're paying $26 to $74 per rep per month. When we ran it, GoHighLevel came to about $1,000 a month all-in on the agency plan.
GoHighLevel SMS pricing, calls and email
GoHighLevel's SMS pricing is $0.00747 per segment, in or out, plus a carrier fee on every text, and calls cost $0.0166 a minute out. HighLevel resells Twilio's rates with a 10% discount on the base price. The rates are the same on every plan.
| Usage | Rate |
|---|---|
| Text, per segment (in or out) | $0.00747 |
| Carrier fee, text out | $0.0035 to $0.0050 |
| Carrier fee, text in | $0.0025 to $0.0100 |
| Picture message (MMS) out | $0.0220 |
| Outbound call, per minute | $0.0166 |
| Inbound call, per minute | $0.01165 |
| Toll-free inbound, per minute | $0.0198 |
| Call recording, per minute | $0.0025 |
| Recording storage, per minute per month | $0.0005 |
| Transcription, per minute | $0.024 |
| Answering machine detection, per call | $0.0075 |
| Voicemail drop, per minute | $0.018 |
Calls bill in full minutes, rounded up. A text is charged once delivery is attempted, delivered or not. Emoji cut a segment from 160 characters to 70, so one smiley can double a text's cost.
GoHighLevel has no published power-dialer price. Sales teams that need power or parallel dialing usually add a dialer on top, and that's where our bill really climbed: the dialer we ran on GoHighLevel, Wavv, cost about $100 to $150 a seat and more than GoHighLevel itself. More on that choice in our guide to sales dialers, and on how the GoHighLevel power dialer stacks up against other CRMs' dialers.
GoHighLevel email pricing
Email costs $0.675 per 1,000 sent on every plan, and checking an address costs $2.50 per 1,000. A dedicated sending domain is $59 a month and only on Unlimited and Agency Pro.
GoHighLevel phone number pricing
A local US or Canadian number is $1.15 a month and a toll-free number $2.15. If you cancel, your numbers are deleted after 14 days, and you're billed for them until then.
GoHighLevel A2P fees
Business texting in the US needs A2P 10DLC registration, and HighLevel charges for it whether or not your campaign is approved. The fees come from The Campaign Registry and the carriers, passed through at cost.
| Campaign type | Texts per day | One time | Monthly |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sole proprietor | 3,000 | $22.50 | up to $2.10 |
| Low volume | 6,000 | $22.50 | $1.50 to $10.50 |
| High volume | 600,000 | $64.00 | $10.50 |
The one-time fee includes a $3 Fast Track charge that isn't refunded. In HighLevel's own words: "Submitting your campaign starts both your one time registration fee and monthly campaign fee, regardless of the review outcome." Resubmitting a rejected campaign is free. Toll-free numbers use a separate verification with no published fee and a review of up to four to six weeks.
GoHighLevel AI pricing
GoHighLevel AI is either pay-per-use by tokens or a flat plan per sub-account: AI Employee Growth at $50 a month or Unlimited at $97. Growth includes 1,000 Conversation AI replies and 100 Voice AI minutes a month, the same minutes a $49 AI receptionist plan includes. Unlimited has no cap on Conversation AI, Voice AI, Reviews AI or Content AI, subject to a fair-use policy HighLevel doesn't put numbers on.
Two catches. Voice AI calls still pay phone rates on every plan (see what a GoHighLevel voice agent costs each month). And pay-per-use stacks three charges per voice minute: $0.045 for the voice engine, $0.015 or more for text-to-speech, and the language model's tokens. A long chat on GPT-5 Mini runs about $0.075 at HighLevel's rates (100,000 tokens in, 25,000 out). Content AI is $0.063 an image and Reviews AI a cent per reply.
Workflows have their own meter. Premium triggers and actions cost $0.01 each time they run, or you buy a Workflow Pro bundle: $10 a month for 10,000 runs, $25 for 30,000, $50 for 65,000. Older blogs still quote flat per-message AI prices. Those are out of date. For a voice-only platform's meters, compare Retell AI pricing.
GoHighLevel hidden fees
Seven things turn a $97 plan into a four-figure bill, and none of them is hidden on purpose. They're just not on the plan cards.
- A wallet that refills itself. Usage comes out of a prepaid wallet that tops up from your card, and auto-recharge can't be turned off. If the balance hits zero, services may stop.
- Carrier fees on every text, including the ones you receive.
- A2P fees charged even when the campaign is rejected.
- Full-minute rounding on calls, plus a $0.004 per minute "client minutes" charge inside every call rate.
- Recording and storage, billed per minute and per minute per month.
- AI phone minutes billed at phone rates even on the Unlimited AI plan.
- Add-ons: premium support $500 a month, HIPAA $297, a white-label mobile app $497, certification $97, WordPress hosting from $10 a site, WhatsApp $10 per sub-account, a premium prospecting tool $29, and a $1,000 advanced account setup.
There's no published setup or onboarding fee. If you pay an outside expert to build your account, that bill is separate; what a build involves and what setup help costs is in our GoHighLevel setup guide.
Is GoHighLevel free?
No. GoHighLevel has no free plan, only a 14-day free trial on any plan. Billing starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel, and call and text fees can apply during the trial.
There's no long-term contract: plans run month to month, and you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel from the dashboard. HighLevel's terms (updated June 2026) say subscriptions renew automatically and every fee is non-refundable, unused months included. If you only need a break, HighLevel offers to pause an account for $27 a month.
What happens to your data if you cancel GoHighLevel?
You can take your contacts with you when you cancel, but the setup you built stays behind. Access ends the moment you cancel. HighLevel keeps the account's data for 90 days, then deletes it, and phone numbers and A2P registrations go after 14 days.
- Contacts: an admin can export them as a CSV, with names, emails, phones, tags and custom fields. The export leaves out automation history, such as past emails and texts.
- Conversations and call recordings: no bulk export is documented.
- Workflows, funnels, forms and calendars: they move only as a snapshot, which loads into another HighLevel account. Snapshots don't carry contacts or conversations, and a bought one is only licensed to you (how GHL snapshots work and what they cost).
That's the part people miss. However much you pay GoHighLevel, or a consultant to build it out, the system never becomes yours. Stop paying and the account, the workflows and the setup stop with it. Over three years, Unlimited costs $10,692 and Agency Pro $17,892. At the $1,000 a month we paid all-in, it's $36,000, and nothing on the balance sheet at the end.
GoHighLevel pricing comparison: which plan to choose
Choose Starter for one sales team, and budget for usage, not the plan.
| Your situation | Plan |
|---|---|
| One sales team, one brand | Starter, $97 |
| Several offices or brands, or you rebill clients | Unlimited, $297 |
| You resell HighLevel or build on its API | Agency Pro, $497 |
| Heavy dialing and texting | Any plan; budget $50 to $75 per rep a month in usage |
Against per-seat CRMs, GoHighLevel's plan fee is the lowest at any team size. Seat fees alone, per month on annual billing, before calling and texting:
| CRM and plan | 10 reps | 25 reps | 50 reps |
|---|---|---|---|
| GoHighLevel Starter (monthly) | $97 | $97 | $97 |
| Pipedrive Growth, $39 a seat | $390 | $975 | $1,950 |
| Close Growth, $99 a seat | $990 | $2,475 | $4,950 |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Pro, $90 a seat | $900 | $2,250 | $4,500 |
| Cleanform, owned, no seat fees | $0 | $0 | $0 |
Cleanform is $0 a seat at any team size: you pay monthly for the build until it's paid off, then mostly hosting. How pricing works.
HubSpot adds a required $1,500 onboarding fee, and our GoHighLevel vs HubSpot comparison prices both at 10, 25 and 50 users. Close passes calls and texts through at cost, about $0.02 a minute. Pipedrive's price was checked October 14, 2026; the others October 21. Our sales software pricing index has every plan, and GoHighLevel alternatives compares the tools side by side.
Should you build your own CRM instead of renting GoHighLevel?
If GoHighLevel and the tools around it cost under $1,000 a month and it fits how you sell, keep it. It's good value for what it bundles. Owning starts to pay when the stack (CRM, a dialer on top, texting, AI and the glue between them) runs a few thousand a month and keeps climbing.
One client's sales floor ran a per-seat dialer, a per-seat CRM, a scheduling tool and a Zap to join them: about $4,500 a month for eight closers. We replaced all four with one system they own, with the dialer, script, dispositions and pipeline on one screen. Hosting runs about $300 a month, and an added seat costs $0. Read the case study.
How it's paid for: typically less than you spend today, paid monthly, and the build payments have an end date. There are no seat fees, and you keep the code, the data and the IP. Here's how pricing works. More on the build-or-buy call in custom CRM development, what you can take out of any CRM in CRM data ownership and export, and the wider field in our CRM software guide.

Frequently asked questions
How much is a GHL subscription per month?
Starter is $97 a month, Unlimited $297 and Agency Pro $497, or $970, $2,970 and $4,970 a year. Calls, texts, email and AI are billed on top from a prepaid wallet, at the same rates on every plan.
Is GoHighLevel expensive?
The plan isn't. The usage can be. Users are free, so a 10-rep team with light texting pays about $256 a month in our worked bill. A 25-rep team calling and texting all day pays about $1,857, and only $97 of that is the plan.
Is GoHighLevel free?
No. There's no free plan. Every plan has a 14-day free trial, and billing starts automatically when it ends unless you cancel. Usage fees for calls and texts can apply during the trial.
Does GoHighLevel charge per user?
No. Every plan includes unlimited users and unlimited contacts. What grows with your team is usage: phone numbers, minutes, texts and AI.
What is the cheapest GoHighLevel plan, and is it enough?
Starter, at $97 a month. For one sales team in one account it covers everything on HighLevel's published limits: unlimited users and contacts, all core features and up to 3 sub-accounts.
Does GoHighLevel charge for A2P registration?
Yes. A2P 10DLC registration costs $22.50 one time for a low-volume campaign or $64 for high volume, plus a monthly campaign fee of $1.50 to $10.50. Both start when you submit, even if the campaign is rejected.
What is SaaS Mode on GoHighLevel?
An Agency Pro feature that lets an agency resell HighLevel as its own software, with automatic account creation and its own markup on usage. A sales team using HighLevel for itself doesn't need it.
