GoHighLevel vs HubSpot: cost, features and exit

Short answer

HubSpot charges per seat and GoHighLevel charges per plan. HubSpot Sales Hub Professional is $90 a seat a month on annual billing plus a required $1,500 onboarding fee, so 10 reps cost $12,300 in the first year. GoHighLevel's Starter plan is $97 a month with unlimited users, and its bill grows through calls, texts and email instead: about $4,800 a year for 10 reps in our worked example.

So the go high level vs hubspot choice comes down to team size and how much your reps call and text. HubSpot gives you a structured sales process with forecasting and sequences. GoHighLevel gives you calling, texting, funnels and automation in one flat-priced account, with a steeper setup. Neither one is yours when you stop paying.

  • Pick HubSpot if you run a B2B team that needs forecasting, email sequences and permissions, and the seat bill fits.
  • Pick GoHighLevel if you want phones, texts and funnels in one account at a flat price, and someone on the team will build and maintain it.
  • Own it instead if your CRM, dialer and the tools around them cost $2,000 a month or more. Under $1,000 a month, keep what you have. See custom CRM development.

If you're weighing GoHighLevel vs HubSpot vs Salesforce, our CRM software guide prices Salesforce next to both.

HubSpot vs GoHighLevel pricing: cost at 10, 25 and 50 users

At 10, 25 and 50 users, HubSpot Sales Hub Professional costs $12,300, $28,500 and $55,500 in the first year, onboarding included. GoHighLevel Starter costs $970 a year at any team size, and with calls, texts and email at our usage assumptions it comes to about $4,800, $10,300 and $19,500.

Source: HubSpot Sales Hub pricing page, October 23, 2026. Switching to monthly billing shows Professional at $100 a seat and Starter at $10.

First year, annual billing 10 users 25 users 50 users
HubSpot Starter, $20 a seat (no sequences or forecasting) $2,400 $6,000 $12,000
HubSpot Professional, $90 a seat + $1,500 onboarding $12,300 $28,500 $55,500
HubSpot Enterprise, $150 a seat + $3,500 onboarding $21,500 $48,500 $93,500
GoHighLevel Starter, plan only $970 $970 $970
GoHighLevel Starter with usage $4,823 $10,318 $19,477
Cleanform, owned, no seat fees $0 $0 $0

Cleanform is $0 a seat at any team size: you pay monthly for the build until it's paid off, then mostly hosting. How pricing works.

The GoHighLevel usage row is our assumption, not HighLevel's. Each user sends 600 texts and receives 300, makes 600 recorded call minutes, keeps one local number, sends 1,000 emails and runs 500 premium workflow actions a month. At HighLevel's phone and text rates and its email and workflow rates, that's about $30.53 per user a month. One high-volume A2P texting registration adds $64 once and $10.50 a month. AI, transcription and taxes are left out on both sides.

HubSpot's rows have no usage line because Professional includes 3,000 calling minutes a month for the whole account. That's the catch for a calling team: 10 reps at 600 minutes each need 6,000. HubSpot sells a calling limit increase, but its product catalog doesn't print the price, and it doesn't price texting either.

Bar chart of monthly calling minutes: HubSpot Starter 500, Professional 3,000, Enterprise 12,000 per account, against 6,000 needed by 10 reps at 600 minutes each
Calling minutes HubSpot includes per account each month, against what 10 reps at our 600-minute assumption need. HubSpot pages checked October 23, 2026.

HubSpot Enterprise $57,500 $138,500 $273,500
GoHighLevel Starter with usage $14,342 $30,827 $58,302
Bar chart of first-year cost: HubSpot Sales Hub Professional $12,300 at 10 users, $28,500 at 25 and $55,500 at 50, against GoHighLevel Starter with usage at $4,823, $10,318 and $19,477

HubSpot onboarding fee

HubSpot charges a required one-time onboarding fee of $1,500 on Sales Hub Professional and $3,500 on Enterprise, on top of the seats. Starter has none. GoHighLevel has no required onboarding fee, though it sells an optional $1,000 Advanced Account Setup. Plenty of teams pay someone else to build the account instead, and GoHighLevel experts charge from a few hundred dollars to a few thousand.

HubSpot cancel subscription rules

A HubSpot subscription renews automatically for the same term or one year, whichever is shorter, and you can't cancel partway through. To stop the renewal, you turn off auto-renew in Account & Billing before the term ends. At renewal, HubSpot's terms let it raise your price up to its current list price with 30 days' notice.

GoHighLevel runs month to month, cancelled from the dashboard any time. Its terms make every fee non-refundable, unused time included.

GoHighLevel vs HubSpot CRM: features side by side

HubSpot Sales Hub is the deeper sales CRM, with forecasting, sequences and 100 pipelines on Professional. GoHighLevel bundles more channels at a flat price, with calling, texting, email, funnels and websites on every plan. HubSpot locks its best sales tools behind higher tiers, and GoHighLevel bills its channels by use.

Feature HubSpot Sales Hub GoHighLevel
Pipelines 15 Starter, 100 Professional, 350 Enterprise Limit not published
Email sequences Professional and up, 500 sends a user a day (1,000 on Enterprise) Built as workflows
Forecasting Professional and up Early-access Labs feature, plan not stated
Calling 500, 3,000 or 12,000 minutes a month per account Built-in phone, billed per minute
Power dialer Enterprise only None in its dialer docs
Texting Not priced on Sales Hub's pages Built in, billed per text plus carrier fees
Websites and funnels A separate product, Content Hub Built in
AI 500 to 5,000 credits a month, extra at $0.01 each Pay per use, or $50 or $97 a month per sub-account
Support Email and chat, plus phone on Professional and up 24/7 on every plan

The gating is what to watch on HubSpot. Sequences and the forecast tool need Professional, so a team on Starter gets a CRM without automated follow-up. GoHighLevel gives every plan the same core features, and follow-up runs as workflows. Its opportunity forecasting is still switched on through Labs, HighLevel's early-access area.

GoHighLevel's page builder makes funnels and websites in the same account as the CRM. That's a big reason agencies and local service businesses pick it. On HubSpot, websites and landing pages belong to Content Hub, a separate product.

HubSpot power dialer

HubSpot's power dialer queues calls from the contacts list, but only on Sales Hub Enterprise at $150 a seat. GoHighLevel's phone dialer places a call in one click and logs it, and we found no power or parallel dialer in its docs.

Teams that dial all day usually bolt a dialer on. We ran Wavv on top of GoHighLevel for about a year. It connected straight in, but it ran as a layer above the CRM, the system got laggy, and back then it cost us about $100 to $150 a seat. Our guide to auto dialers explains the dialing types.

HubSpot vs GoHighLevel: who each one is for

HubSpot vs GoHighLevel splits on how you sell. HubSpot fits a B2B team with several pipelines, a manager who forecasts, and reps who work email sequences. GoHighLevel fits an appointment-driven business or an agency that runs on calls, texts and funnels and wants one flat bill however many people log in.

HighLevel builds for agencies first: its Unlimited plan is "built for growing agencies." A single sales team still fits on Starter.

We ran sales teams on GoHighLevel for five or six years, with hundreds of reps through it. It's very flexible, and it isn't priced per seat. That matters when you hire 10 reps and three or four stick. On HubSpot, every one of those hires is a seat.

HubSpot pros and cons vs GoHighLevel

HubSpot pros

  • Free for 2 users, so you can start small
  • Forecasting, sequences and permissions for a structured team
  • Prices on the page, and records export to CSV, XLS or XLSX

HubSpot cons

  • Every rep is a seat, and the real sales tools start at Professional with a $1,500 onboarding fee
  • The power dialer needs Enterprise
  • It renews for up to a year with no mid-term cancel, and the price can rise to list at renewal

GoHighLevel pros

  • Unlimited users from $97 a month
  • Calling, texting, email, funnels and websites in one account
  • Month to month, with 24/7 support on every plan

GoHighLevel cons

  • Usage becomes most of the bill
  • You build the pipelines, workflows and texting registration yourself
  • No power dialer in its docs, forecasting is early access, and the contact export keeps only the latest note

What reviewers say about GoHighLevel vs HubSpot

On review sites such as G2, Capterra and Trustpilot (read October 2026), HubSpot reviewers mostly complain about the bill growing: contact tiers, features held back for higher plans and onboarding fees. GoHighLevel reviewers like the flat price, then complain about usage charges, uneven support and the learning curve. The two review bases are very different, so we don't compare star ratings.

How to export data from HubSpot or GoHighLevel when you leave

You can export data from HubSpot as CSV, XLS or XLSX files and contacts from GoHighLevel as a CSV, but neither lets you take your workflows to another system. The timing differs too. HubSpot gives no access to CRM data once the subscription ends, while GoHighLevel keeps a cancelled account's data for 90 days.

HubSpot GoHighLevel
After you cancel No access to CRM data Kept 90 days, then deleted, or pause for $27 a month
Records Contacts, deals, calls and more as CSV, XLS or XLSX Contacts as a CSV, with only the latest note
Message history Inbox conversations through the API Left out of the contact export
Workflows A list as a spreadsheet, or one workflow as an image Copied by snapshot into another HighLevel account

HubSpot's terms say "You own and retain all rights to the Customer Materials and Customer Data." The window is the problem. Its product terms give no access to CRM data after the subscription ends, so you export your records before you cancel. Workflows come out as a spreadsheet list or a picture, and inbox conversations only through the API.

HighLevel keeps cancelled accounts for 90 days. Its contact export keeps one note of up to 255 characters and no past emails or texts. A snapshot copies workflows, funnels and calendars into another HighLevel account, but not contacts or conversations.

However much you pay HubSpot or GoHighLevel, or a consultant to build either one out, the system never becomes yours. Stop paying and the account, the workflows and the setup stop with it. What you keep is a set of files. More on this in CRM data ownership and export.

Is GoHighLevel better than HubSpot?

GoHighLevel is better than HubSpot on price for a team that keeps adding reps, and HubSpot is better for a sales process built on forecasting, sequences and permissions. At 50 users, HubSpot Professional runs about $55,500 in the first year against about $19,500 for GoHighLevel with heavy calling and texting.

At 50 seats HubSpot Starter is $12,000 a year, less than GoHighLevel with our usage assumptions, but it has no sequences or forecasting and only 500 calling minutes a month for the whole account.

Our call: a phone-and-text team that hires often should pick GoHighLevel. A B2B team working sequences and a forecast should pick HubSpot Professional, if the seat bill fits.

Then there's owning it. If your CRM, a dialer on top and the tools tying them together run $2,000 to $3,000 a month or more, a system built around how you sell can cost less, with no seat fee. One client's sales floor paid about $4,500 a month for eight closers across a per-seat dialer, a per-seat CRM, a scheduling tool and a Zap. We replaced all four with one system they own. Hosting runs about $300 a month, and an added seat costs $0 (case study).

It's typically less than you spend today, paid monthly, and the build payments have an end date. You keep the code, the data and the IP. Here's how pricing works. You do give up HubSpot's app marketplace, so list the integrations you actually use before you switch. And if the whole stack costs under $1,000 a month and fits how you sell, keep it. Frequently asked questions

Is GoHighLevel better than HubSpot?

For a team that adds reps and lives on calls and texts, GoHighLevel costs far less: unlimited users from $97 a month plus usage. For a B2B team that needs forecasting, sequences and permissions, HubSpot Sales Hub Professional is the stronger CRM, at $90 a seat a month on annual billing plus $1,500 onboarding.

Does GoHighLevel make websites?

Yes. GoHighLevel's page builder makes funnels, websites and blogs inside the same account as the CRM, on every plan. HubSpot sells websites and landing pages as a separate product, Content Hub.

What are the levels of HubSpot?

Sales Hub comes in Free (up to 2 users), Starter, Professional and Enterprise. Starter is $20 a seat a month at list price, Professional $90 on annual billing or $100 monthly, and Enterprise $150. Professional and Enterprise add a required one-time onboarding fee of $1,500 or $3,500.

Is GoHighLevel a real CRM?

Yes. It has contacts, pipelines and opportunities, plus built-in calling, texting, email and funnels. Its forecasting is still an early-access feature, and it has no power dialer in its docs, so a structured B2B sales team may find HubSpot deeper.

Is HubSpot hard to learn?

The free and Starter tools are quick to pick up. Professional and Enterprise come with a required onboarding fee ($1,500 or $3,500), which tells you the setup behind sequences, workflows and forecasting takes real work.

Who are HubSpot's competitors?

For sales teams, HubSpot's own comparison pages name Salesforce, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM, Monday CRM and GoHighLevel, among others. They split on per-seat versus flat pricing and on how much calling and texting is built in.
