Effective October 20, 2026. This policy covers cleanform.io and the "Book a free audit" form on it. Cleanform builds custom software for businesses. If you have a question about anything here, email hello@cleanform.io.

The short version: we collect what you type into the audit form so we can do your audit, and we count visits to the site without cookies, without storing your IP address and without ad trackers. We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use it for advertising.

What we collect when you book a free audit

When you send the form, we receive:

  • Your name, company, work email and phone number.
  • Anything you add: how many tools you pay for, how you heard about us, your message, and the software stack you built in the SaaS cost calculator if you used it first.
  • The page you sent it from, the first page you landed on, and the site that sent you to us (for example, google.com), if your browser shares it.

The form is delivered to us as an email. We use it to contact you about your audit, to do the audit, and to follow up about working together. It stays in our email for as long as we're in touch about that, and we delete it when you ask us to.

Calls and texts. By sharing your number, you agree we can call or text you about your audit. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to opt out. We never share your phone number or your consent to receive texts with anyone else for their own marketing.

What we collect when you browse the site

We count visits so we can tell which pages are useful. We don't use cookies, advertising networks or third-party analytics such as Google Analytics.

For each page view, our server records:

  • The page you viewed and when.
  • Where you came from: the type of site (a search engine, an AI assistant, social media, email, another website, or direct) and its name, or a campaign tag in the link.
  • Your country, which our hosting provider works out from your network, and whether you're on a desktop, phone or tablet.
  • How you used the page: roughly how long it was on screen, how far you scrolled, and which of our buttons or links you clicked (such as "Book a free audit", the calculator, or a download). We never record what you type.

We don't store your IP address. To tell one visitor from another on the same day, our server mixes your IP address, browser type and the date with a secret code and keeps only the scrambled result. It changes every day and can't be turned back into your IP address or your identity.

Your browser's local storage. The site may save two small things in your browser, not in a cookie: the date of your last visit, so we can count new and returning visitors (only "how many days since your last visit" is ever sent to us), and a setting that turns counting off if you choose to. You can clear them at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends either signal, we don't count your visit at all.

Who else handles your information

We use a few service providers to run the site. They handle information on our behalf and not for their own marketing:

  • Cloudflare hosts the site, delivers the audit form to our email, and stores our visit counts. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • Google Fonts. Our pages load fonts from Google, so your browser connects to Google's servers, which receive your IP address. See Google's privacy policy.
  • Our email provider stores the audit requests we receive.

We also use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools. They show us totals about how our site appears in search results, such as how many times a page was shown or clicked, not information about you.

We may share information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or with a buyer if Cleanform is ever sold or merged. In that case, this policy still applies to what we collected.

How long we keep it

Audit requests: as long as we're in touch with you about the audit or a project, and until you ask us to delete them. Visit records: as long as they help us see trends over time. They don't identify you.

Your choices and rights

  • See, correct or delete what we hold about you: email hello@cleanform.io and we'll reply within 30 days.
  • Stop calls and texts: reply STOP to a text, or tell us by email or on the phone.
  • Stop visit counting: turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser, or clear the site's data.

We don't sell or "share" personal information as California law defines those terms, and we don't use it for targeted advertising.

Children

The site is for businesses. It isn't directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them.

Security

The site only works over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to audit requests and visit counts is limited to Cleanform's founders. No system is perfectly secure, so please don't send us passwords or other sensitive information through the form.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. If a change matters, such as a new kind of information or a new company that handles it, we'll say so here.
