Short answer
monday CRM costs $12, $17 or $28 per seat a month billed yearly (Basic, Standard and Pro), or $18, $25 and $41 billed monthly, and Ultimate is quote only. Ten Pro seats cost $280 a month billed yearly and $410 billed monthly, before tax. There's no free plan, only a 14-day trial.
Prices are US list prices from monday CRM's pricing page, checked in a browser on October 26, 2026, with limits from monday's help center checked the same day. One warning before you compare pages: monday work management is a different product with lower prices ($9, $12 and $19 a seat), and a lot of "monday pricing" pages quote those numbers for the CRM.
| Plan | Billed yearly | Billed monthly | Best for | Limit that bites |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $12 | $18 | A contact list with a pipeline | 5 columns a board, no automations |
| Standard | $17 | $25 | A small team, light automation | 250 automation actions a month |
| Pro | $28 | $41 | Most sales teams | 25,000 actions, mass email capped |
| Ultimate | Quote only | Quote only | Security and audit needs | 12-month minimum term |
| Cleanform, owned, no seat fees | $0 | $0 | Teams that want to own it | None per seat |
Cleanform is $0 a seat at any team size: you pay monthly for the build until it's paid off, then mostly hosting. How pricing works.
monday CRM plans and what each one includes
monday CRM has four plans: Basic at $12, Standard at $17 and Pro at $28 per seat a month billed yearly, plus Ultimate at a custom price. Ultimate is the new name for monday's Enterprise tier. Each plan raises the caps on contacts, boards and automations, and the sales features (mass email, sequences, forecasting) start on Pro.

The struck-through number on each card is the monthly-billing price. Flip the toggle to Monthly and only $18, $25 and $41 show.
| Limit | Basic | Standard | Pro | Ultimate |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Active contacts and deals | 1,000 | 10,000 | 100,000 | Unlimited |
| Columns per board | 5 | 15 | 75 | Unlimited |
| Automation actions a month | None | 250 | 25,000 | Enterprise-scale |
| Quotes and invoices a month | 20 | 50 | 250 | Unlimited |
| Dashboards | 1 | 5 | 50 | Unlimited |
| Storage | 5 GB | 20 GB | 100 GB | Not listed |
Storage and the feature gates below come from monday's CRM plan types article.
monday CRM Basic
monday CRM Basic costs $12 a seat a month billed yearly or $18 monthly, and it's a contact tracker more than a sales CRM. You get unlimited pipelines and unlimited free viewers, but only 1,000 contacts and deals, 5 columns per board and no automations.
monday CRM Standard
monday CRM Standard costs $17 a seat a month billed yearly or $25 monthly. It adds two-way Gmail and Outlook sync, the mobile apps, 10,000 contacts and 250 automation actions a month. That last number is the catch: monday's own help center warns that 250 actions "is typically exhausted within days" for accounts that notify several people per automation.
monday CRM Pro
monday CRM Pro costs $28 a seat a month billed yearly or $41 monthly, and it's the plan most sales teams should buy. It's the first plan with mass email, email sequences and tracking, sales forecasting, Google Calendar sync, private boards and column-level permissions, and it raises automations to 25,000 actions a month.
monday CRM Ultimate
monday CRM Ultimate has no published price. It adds single sign-on, an audit log, SCIM, a HIPAA compliance program, lead scoring, mandatory fields, unlimited caps, 24/7 prioritized support, and onboarding and migration help. monday's plans and pricing article sets a 12-month minimum term on the Enterprise plan, which is Ultimate under its old name.
When we used monday for about six months, it was fine, with no big problems. But it's build-it-yourself. Unless you spend many hours setting it up right, it's not going to go well, and that time doesn't show up on any pricing card.
Is there a monday CRM free plan?
There is no monday CRM free plan. monday's free plan only covers its work management product. For the CRM you get a 14-day trial of the Pro plan with no credit card, and the trial can't be extended. After that you need a paid plan.
Two things cost nothing on paid plans. Viewers, who can see boards but not edit them, are free and unlimited on Basic. On Standard, every 4 guests count as one billed seat, so up to 3 guests are free, per monday's guest pricing article.
Pro and Ultimate allow unlimited guests. Nonprofits can apply for free or discounted access.
monday CRM free trial
The monday CRM free trial runs 14 days on the Pro plan, so you test mass email, sequences and forecasting, the features Standard doesn't have. If your team would buy Standard, test whether 250 actions a month covers your automations before you commit. The trial won't show you that.
monday CRM cost for 10, 25 and 50 seats
monday CRM costs a 10-seat team $120 to $280 a month billed yearly, depending on the plan, and a 25-seat team $300 to $700. At 50 seats every plan, even Basic, switches to "Contact sales" on monday's pricing page, so there's no public price. Each figure below is seats multiplied by monday's list price.
| Plan and billing | 10 seats | 25 seats | 40 seats | 50 seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic, yearly ($12) | $120 | $300 | $480 | Quote only |
| Basic, monthly ($18) | $180 | $450 | $720 | Quote only |
| Standard, yearly ($17) | $170 | $425 | $680 | Quote only |
| Standard, monthly ($25) | $250 | $625 | $1,000 | Quote only |
| Pro, yearly ($28) | $280 | $700 | $1,120 | Quote only |
| Pro, monthly ($41) | $410 | $1,025 | $1,640 | Quote only |
| Cleanform, owned, no seat fees | $0 | $0 | $0 | $0 |
The per-seat price stays the same at every size. We checked the seat selector at 3, 25 and 40 seats on October 26. There's no volume discount.
Monthly billing costs 46% to 50% more per seat. Over three years, a 25-seat Pro team pays $25,200 billed yearly and $36,900 billed monthly, a gap of $11,700. Yearly billing is paid upfront in one payment.
How monday CRM seats work: buckets and auto-upgrades
monday CRM sells seats in buckets, not one at a time: 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30 and 40. A team of 6 pays for 10. The minimum is 3 seats, even for one person.
Go over your bucket and monday upgrades you. Add an 11th user to a 10-seat Standard monthly plan, and unless you remove them within 5 days, the account moves to 15 seats: $375 a month instead of $250 (auto-upgrade rules). Going back down only happens at renewal.
On a sales floor that matters. In our experience, you hire 10 reps and 3 or 4 stick, but the seat count climbs with every hire and falls only once a year.
monday CRM cost per month: three real bills
Here are three bills built only from monday's published prices, in USD, before tax, billed yearly. The calling line uses an assumption of ours, 1,000 connected minutes per rep a month (about 45 minutes a day), at monday's metered rate explained below.
| Team | Seats plus calling | Per month | Per year | 3 years |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 10 reps, Pro, no calling | 10 × $28 | $280 | $3,360 | $10,080 |
| 25 reps, Standard, calling | $425 + $1,250 calling | $1,675 | $20,100 | $60,300 |
| 25 reps, Pro, calling | $700 + $1,250 calling | $1,950 | $23,400 | $70,200 |
Texting isn't in any of them, because monday has no texting price of its own. Treat the calling bills as a floor.
monday CRM add-ons and extra costs
monday CRM's extra costs come from usage, not add-on fees: calling and AI are paid in AI credits at $0.01 each, texting goes through your own Twilio account, and the automation cap can't be topped up below Enterprise. Most of these limits sit in the help center, not on the pricing cards.
| Extra | Price | Catch |
|---|---|---|
| Extra automation actions | Enterprise only, price not published | Others must upgrade |
| Calling (Smart Call) | 5 AI credits a connected minute ($0.05) | Mobile app only |
| AI credits | $0.01 a credit | Monthly allowance per plan not published |
| Texting | Your own Twilio account | Billed by Twilio, not monday |
| Extra API calls | Units of 25,000 a day, price not published | Admins buy it |
| E-signature | DocuSign, its own subscription | No native e-sign |
| Premium Support | Contact sales | Ultimate gets 24/7 support |
| Onboarding and migration | Not published | Included on Ultimate |
Automations pause 72 hours after you hit the monthly limit, and only Enterprise customers can buy more actions (automation limits). Integrations have their own cap (250 actions a month on Standard), and monday says the Gmail and Outlook integrations "can consume a lot of actions." API use is capped at 1,000 calls a day on Basic and Standard, 10,000 on Pro and 25,000 on Ultimate (API rate limits).
monday CRM mass email
monday CRM mass email is a Pro and Ultimate feature, capped at 500 emails at a time and 2,000 a day (mass emailing). The emails go out through your own Gmail or Outlook account, so your email host's daily limits apply on top. Standard has two-way email sync but no mass email or sequences.
monday CRM AI and calling
monday CRM prices AI and calling in credits worth $0.01 each in US dollars (AI feature catalog). Every account gets a one-time trial of 6,000 credits (12,000 on Ultimate). After that you buy more. The cards say AI credits are included in the AI plans, but monday doesn't publish how many.
monday Smart Call, the built-in phone, costs 5 credits per connected minute, which works out to $0.05 a minute. That's our arithmetic joining two monday pages, not a dollar price monday prints. Ringing time is free and there's no fee per number (Smart Call credits).
The limits matter more than the rate. Smart Call runs through the monday mobile app, with no browser calling, and supports US, Canada, Puerto Rico and Israel numbers only. You can't port a number in, an account gets up to 5 numbers, and it isn't a power dialer (Smart Call setup).
Texting needs the Twilio integration and your own Twilio bill. A team that dials all day should price a real dialer. Our guide to sales dialers compares them.
monday CRM vs monday work management
monday CRM and monday work management are separate products with separate prices. Work management is $9, $12 and $19 a seat billed yearly on monday's main pricing page, and it has a free plan for 2 seats. monday publishes no bundle price.
If your team needs both, add the two list prices: $29 a seat for Standard on each, or $47 for Pro on each. Since 2024 each product is priced on its own, and early customers kept their old rate only until their first renewal in 2026. monday's own example in its product separation article goes from $120 to $235 for 5 Pro seats on both products.
monday CRM vs HubSpot, Salesforce and Pipedrive on price
monday CRM is cheaper per seat than HubSpot and Salesforce: Pro is $28 a seat a month billed yearly, against $90 for HubSpot Sales Hub Professional and $100 for Salesforce Pro Suite. At 25 reps that's $700 a month for monday, $2,250 for HubSpot and $2,500 for Salesforce.
| CRM plan (billed yearly) | Per seat | 10 reps | 25 reps | 50 reps |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Freshsales Growth | $9 | $90 | $225 | $450 |
| monday CRM Basic | $12 | $120 | $300 | Quote only |
| Zoho CRM Professional | $23 | $230 | $575 | $1,150 |
| monday CRM Pro | $28 | $280 | $700 | Quote only |
| Freshsales Pro | $39 | $390 | $975 | $1,950 |
| HubSpot Sales Hub Pro | $90 | $900 | $2,250 | $4,500 |
| Salesforce Pro Suite | $100 | $1,000 | $2,500 | $5,000 |
| Cleanform, owned, no seat fees | $0 | $0 | $0 | $0 |
Competitor prices were checked October 25, 2026. HubSpot Professional also needs a one-time $1,500 onboarding fee, and Enterprise $3,500 (how HubSpot's seats and fees add up). Salesforce Starter Suite is $25 a user, billed monthly or yearly. Pipedrive's plans are in our CRM pricing comparison, which lists every plan from 17 vendors.
So what's the typical cost of a CRM? Entry paid seats run about $9 to $25 a user a month. Plans with real automation run about $23 to $100, and monday Pro at $28 sits near the low end.
HubSpot and Salesforce charge more for deeper marketing and reporting. Zoho's full price list is in Zoho CRM pricing, and the Gmail-based option is priced out in what Copper CRM costs per seat.
monday CRM is fairly priced for a sales team of up to a few dozen that wants a visual pipeline it can shape itself. It gets expensive, fast, once the team needs calling, texting and email volume, because each of those is metered or bought somewhere else.
How to cancel monday CRM and export your data
You cancel monday CRM from Administration, then Billing, and the plan runs to the end of the term you paid for. Plans renew automatically. On a yearly plan, monday's terms ask for at least 30 days' notice before the end date (monday terms of service), and the help center applies the same 30 days to existing customers.
Refunds are narrow. A first-time buyer has 30 days to ask in writing for a prorated refund. Renewals, monthly renewals and anything after day 30 aren't refunded (refund eligibility).
Cutting seats or dropping a plan only takes effect at your next renewal, and deactivating users doesn't lower the bill (downgrading your plan). Any first-term discount ends at renewal too.
Getting your data out:
- One board at a time: export to Excel, up to 100,000 items per board.
- Whole account: admins can download a zip of every board and file once every 24 hours, and the link lasts 24 hours (account export).
- Left out: dashboards, archived boards, workdocs and the Emails & Activities timeline.
- After you close: the account goes inactive after 7 days, and monday keeps the data by default but doesn't promise for how long.
Export before you cancel. If you ask for a refund, access is blocked right away. More on what each vendor lets you take in CRM data ownership and export.
Which of the monday CRM plans should you pick?
Most sales teams of 5 to 40 people should pick monday CRM Pro at $28 a seat, because it's the first plan with mass email, sequences, forecasting and enough automation actions to run a pipeline. Standard works only if you need pipelines and email sync with light automation.
| Your situation | Plan |
|---|---|
| Tracking contacts and a simple pipeline | Basic, $12 |
| Small team, email sync, a few automations | Standard, $17 |
| Sales team with sequences, mass email, forecasting | Pro, $28 |
| SSO, audit log, HIPAA, or 40+ seats | Ultimate, quote |
| Team that dials all day | Pro plus a separate dialer |
Bill yearly only if your headcount is steady. You can't shrink mid-term, and the refund window closes after 30 days.
monday CRM alternatives: keep renting or own it
monday CRM is mid-priced per seat, so the seat line alone rarely justifies a switch. At 10 or 25 seats, every plan stays under $1,000 a month except Pro billed monthly at 25 seats ($1,025). If your CRM and the tools around it cost under $1,000 a month and fit how you sell, keep monday.
Owning starts to pay when the stack is the bill. Add calling to a 25-seat team and monday alone runs $1,550 to $1,950 a month on our assumption. Put a texting tool and the glue between apps on top and many teams pass $2,000 a month, growing with every hire. Over three years, $2,000 a month is $72,000 of rent, and $3,000 is $108,000.
One client's sales floor ran a per-seat dialer, a per-seat CRM, a scheduling tool and a Zap: about $4,500 a month for eight closers, and every new rep was a $560-a-month decision. We replaced all four with one system the business owns, with the dialer, script, dispositions and pipeline on one screen. Hosting runs about $300 a month, and an added seat costs $0 (the dialer and CRM case study).
However much you pay monday, the system never becomes yours. Stop paying and the boards, automations and setup stop with it, even though your records export.
With Cleanform you keep the code, the data and the IP. It's typically less than you spend today, paid monthly, and the build payments have an end date (how pricing works). The build-or-buy call is laid out in custom CRM development, flat pricing with unlimited users is in GoHighLevel's pricing, and the wider field is in our CRM software guide.

What is monday CRM good for?
